SA SERIES: Passive anti-static brushes

Passive anti-static brushes to reduce or eliminate the electrostatic charges that naturally form on the insulating materials due to rubbing and separating during the industrial processes of extrusion, labelling, screen printing, engraving, weaving, unwinding/winding, laminating, etc.
These charges can reach extremely high levels, and it is essential to reduce them in order to avoid compromising production quality, times, and costs, as well as to ensure the operators’ safety.
The Cason passive anti-static brushes are robust, easy to install, and require little maintenance.

Passive:
Unlike conventional anti-static systems (bars), anti-static brushes do not actively generate ions, and instead “capture” the electrostatic charges present on the material and discharge them to the ground.
Each system consists of a passive anti-static brush to be connected to an appropriate grounding connector (min. 2.5mm2), and requires no external power supply.
The brush must be positioned (using special fasteners) immediately after the point where the charge is generated, at a distance of 0.5 to 2 mm from the material.
Anti-static brushes are not suitable for production and processing lines for materials intended for the food industry.
